Heat and electricity production

Tepláreň Považská Bystrica is one of Slovakia’s leading electricity and heat producers. This is generated by a combination gas-and-steam cycle that nominally outputs 64 MW of electricity and 120 MW of heat. It stands as one of Slovakia’s largest cogenerative heat and electricity sources.
