LNG supply and distribution

The GGE Group’s main LNG activities fall within the responsibility of DUON, based in Poland. DUON Dystrybucja Sp. z o.o. operates 70 km of pipelines in cities supplied with LNG or using LNG to supply heat.

DUON supplies LNG to these cities via 21 strategically located gas stations, making DUON the LNG leader in Poland with an 80% market share. LNG is an environmentally friendly, economical and multi-purpose fuel composed of natural gas which, as a result of cooling to –163 °C, becomes a liquid with a volume decrease by a factor of about 1/600.
